A beautiful new Plateau bar opened up last week at 20 Duluth Avenue in the upstairs location that used to house the grungy punk bar, Perfecto. The space has undergone a radical transformation since its days as a dive bar – it is now spacious, bright, and teeming with greenery.
A patio door above Duluth Avenue, huge windows, and skylights lend an airy brightness to the space, creating the feeling of being outdoors. From the vantage point of seats near the open patio door, one has a great second-story view down onto the bustle of Duluth – one of the Plateau’s most interesting streets.
The menu is snack-like, with dumplings as its main feature including fillings such as beef, lamb, rabbit, pork, and eggplant. It also has a nice variety of small plates. A cocktail menu and 12 beer lines provides a choice of drinks for all.
If you’re visiting the Plateau, stop by and check it out, you won’t be disappointed! Open everyday from 4PM to 3AM (kitchen closes at 2AM).
