Nearly everywhere you go in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood you’ll find murals and street art. Some proudly displayed along main arteries and popular streets, others tucked away in alleys and parking lots. The abundance and variety of these murals, the challenge of finding them all, and the bohemian beauty of the Plateau, makes a mural walk the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Here are 16 of our favorites – all located on and around St-Laurent Boulevard, in the heart of the Plateau. It will take around 1 hour to visit these 16 at a leisurely stroll, but keep an eye out – there are more to be found if you look carefully. Get set up with this map of Montreal’s murals on your smart phone or tablet and off you go.
